An astrophysicist

About me

Since March 2024, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Space Research at North-West University, South Africa. My research focuses on studying stellar populations Fornax cluster galaxies and environmental effects in connection with gas content. And also, I survey Lyman break Galaxies in the vicinity of extreme luminous quasars to better characterize the richness and evolutionary state of their environment. I obtained my Ph.D. from the Instituto de Estudios Astrofísicos at Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago, Chile, working with Prof. Roberto Assef.
